Спойлер: Следи за базаром No I am not making this up For some people gaming is a way of life. For those gamers there’s nothing more exhilarating than getting the latest and greatest video game title to be released, mastering all of the functionality and then heading over to online multiplayer to show the world just how honed your skills are. Xbox LIVE lets you actually record the live gameplay and upload it to Microsoft’s servers as evidence of superiority. Although this remains as popular as ever, Microsoft has been quick to confirm that a number of unhappy users have lost their Xbox LIVE privileges due to their videos on the Upload Studio containing consistent profanities – something that Microsoft is looking to eradicate. Gamers have been using Microsoft’s Upload Studio to record their own victories, learn from their mistakes or just to show off to the online community how they are whopping rear on their brand new Xbox One console. However, strictly enforcing the terms and conditions associated with the Upload Studio does seem to be a relatively new thing from the Redmond based company. A growing number of Xbox gamers have been taking to the LIVE forums over the last few days to query why their account privileges have been temporarily suspended after uploading videos, and they now have their answer from a Microsoft spokesman: Excessive profanity and other Code of Conduct violations will be enforced upon. On Xbox One, we have a more sophisticated system of enforcement, as a result, if someone misbehaves on the service, we may only suspend some of their privileges on Xbox Live such as access to certain apps or use of certain features. It’s all well and good imposing some kind of penalty for breaching the rules, after all, everyone using the service has actually agreed to those terms. The frustration from gamers seem to be arising from the fact that they aren’t being told what they are being suspended for, what the suspension affects and how long it will be in place for. Some of those in violation of the profanity terms have found themselves unable to use Skype and other native apps on the Xbox One. Some users even lost access to their whole account.
